What happens in a class?
During the class the children will be involved in a number of activities, including movements breathing exercises, movement, yoga games, imaginative play, music, songs, relaxations, reflections and affirmations.  Each class is designed to be age appropriate.

How long is the class for?
3-5 year old classes run for 30 minutes.  5-12 year old classes run for either 45 minutes or 1 hour depending on your needs.

How do I pay?
Payment is directly to Inner Child Yoga before the program starts.

What if I miss a class?
Make up classes are available on request

What if my circumstances change and my child can not complete the full term?
If your child leaves the centre and our programs are running at their new centre we can transfer them onto the new centres program.  If your child changes their days, with consent of your centre, you are welcome to bring them in for their class on the designated day.

What does my child need to wear?
No special clothing is required for yoga; it can be practiced wearing any comfortable clothing. It is advised for girls to wear leggings if they are wearing a skirt or dress.

Does my child need to have previous yoga experience?
The classes are designed to engage those who are new to yoga as well as those who have practiced before.

Is children’s yoga religious?
No, children’s yoga is not religious; it has no gods to worship and no statement of religious belief. The teachings of yoga are universal.

Do you have insurance?
Yes, we have public liability and professional indemnity cover with AON.

What information do you need from me?
When you enroll your child you will complete an individual or group enrollment form.  This form asks for information about your child and yourself and your contact details. If the classes are at your childcare centre or school, completing the form gives permission for the childcare centre or school to share any information asked on your form that is missing or has changed over time.

Will photo’s be taken of my child?
We take photo’s in our classes to use on our social media, website or promotional materials. We only take photo’s of children who’s family has given consent via the enrollment form.

Are you COVID-Safe?
Absolutely, we are registered with the NSW government as a Covid-Safe business and have a plan that is regularly reviewed.  We adhere to government guidelines and adapt the activities in our classes to ensure we have a safe practice that everyone can enjoy.

Parties

What happens on the day?
Our yoga teacher will arrive 15 minutes before the start to get everything set up. The yoga party will then start and run for 1 hour. After the hour, the yoga teacher will tidy the mats and equipment up.

How long is the yoga session for?
1 hour

Is there a minimum number of children?
Yes, there is a minimum of 10 children. Maximum numbers will depend on the age of the children. Please call to discuss further.

How much does it cost?
The cost is $20 per child. Payment is made at the time of booking. There is no refund for wet weather.  We recommend that you have a wet weather plan.  In the event that it is raining or the site chosen is unusable due to weather and you do not have an alternative venue, we will do our best to reschedule your party.

What does my child need to wear?

Do you play the piñata game?
Yoga practices non-violence and hitting something as hard as you can with a stick doesn’t sit well with us. If you would like a piñata during your party, please arrange for it to happen before or after the arrival of the teacher.

How do I book a party?
Call us on 0405 585240 to confirm availability for the date of your party. Then complete the booking form and make payment. Payment details can be found on the booking form. 7 days prior to the party we will give you a call to reconfirm all the details.

What if I need to change the booking?
Please give us a call on 0405 585240 and we will do our best to accommodate the changes.

Do you have insurance?
Yes, we have public liability and professional indemnity cover with AON.

What areas do you operate in?
We can run parties within the Sydney metro and suburban area. Regional areas incur an additional fee. Please contact us for more details.
